SPORT AT CHANEL

Chanel College has a long and proud sporting tradition and offers extensive sporting opportunities for students.

At Chanel College, we pride ourselves on our sportspersonship, teamwork, having fun and giving any sport ‘a go’.

The sporting program, over four terms, is overseen by the Co-Curricular Sport Leader, Ms Kylie Kickbusch, who is assisted by a number of staff members and some Chanel College Alumni.

Students participate a wide variety of sports including rugby league, rugby union, AFL, soccer, basketball, netball, volleyball, tennis, cricket, athletics, cross country, and swimming.

Chanel College is a member of the Port Curtis School Sport Competition which includes ten schools from the Gladstone area. Students complete against students from these schools at an interschool level in a variety of sports and at regional selection trials for Port Curtis teams.

STUDENTS WANTING TO ATTEND A PORT CURTIS TRIAL PLEASE NOTE

Port Curtis Sport: To attend any Port Curtis Trials, you must fill out the permission booklet in the link below.

Once completed, please print the booklet, which then needs to be handed in to Miss Keys at the College.
