KOBI HAS JUST WON JUNIOR STATE CHAMPION AT THE MEN’S ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS JUNIOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Kobi competed for over two weeks at National Clubs at the Gold Coast where he was part of a three-man team that placed 3rd on pommel horse and 16th overall. He then came back to Gladstone and trained for a week before heading to Brisbane for the Men’s Artistic Junior State Championships, where he came 1st overall for the level 6 optional.
He’s only 13 this year and trains a massive 20 hours each week; 4 x 4 hour afternoon sessions and 2 x 2 hour morning sessions. He loves his sport and knows through commitment, intrinsic motivation and hard work he will continue to improve and stay as a strong competitor at a State and National level.
