RUGBY UNION – Under 15 Boys
Chanel College under 15 Boys v TCC & Emmaus under 15 Boys.
Building off the fantastic win from last week, Chanel were flying high and full of confidence. Winning our scrums and tightheads showed their dominance from the start. The rucks were physical and Chanel College showed their dominance on the ground. Special mention must go Kobi Taniotioala for his ferocious work on the ground. Kobi won 7 turnovers on his own! The halftime score was 17 – 7 in Chanel’s favour, the first time this season that they have been up at half time.
Again, Chanel proved that the second half belongs to them. They had massive runs and carried the ball with aggression. Hard running from the likes of Ty Fitzgerald, Te Wairongoa Pohoikura-Mill and Bronsan Noble stood out. William Lenz, Cooper Zahra and Kobi Taniotioala were making decisive hits in defence. Leandrew O’Reilly, playing at fullback, had an awesome game at the back under the high ball. In the end, Chanel College WON the game 43 – 7.
