Chanel College Instrumental Music Program
Research shows that learning a musical instrument has measurable positive impacts upon brain development. These include enhancing learning, improving multisensory processing, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improving motor control, strengthening the brain’s capacity to process and retain information, as well as reducing stress and anxiety.
Students at Chanel College are offered tuition on a range of instruments, as well as vocal coaching, through the Instrumental Music Program.
Visiting tutors offer expert tuition in Strings, Drum kit/Percussion, Guitar, Woodwind, Brass, Piano and Voice.
The College also offers a range of ensembles in which students participate.
Students in the Instrumental Music Program showcase their skills in a variety of performances throughout the year.
Information regarding the Instrumental Music Program is available from Mrs Stacy Berry the Instrumental Music Program Co-Ordinator.
