Each student is a member of a House Pastoral Care Group.
House Pastoral Care Groups are under the care of House Pastoral Care Teachers.
The aim of the House Pastoral Care Group is to provide the students with a sense of belonging and acceptance. This enables the teachers and students to show genuine interest and concern for one another.
On enrolment, students are assigned to a House. Siblings across the college are assigned to the same house.
There are five Houses – Futuna, MacKillop, Marcellin, McAuley and Stella Maris.
Vertical House Pastoral Care Groups enhance the Pastoral Care program by:
- creating a sense of belonging and connectedness to a House
- enhancing House Spirit
- creating opportunities for students to participate and contribute
- providing opportunities for students to lead at all year levels
- developing a sense of community as the students from Senior year levels interact with students from Junior year levels.
