Counselling Services
Chanel College offers counselling to students to help those who may be dealing with difficult issues and need someone objective with whom to discuss their concerns.
Counselling support may be required for stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, friendship concerns, grief or loss, resiliency, or other mental health concerns.
Chanel College offers a Brief Solution-Focused Therapy approach; however, if a student requires more specialised and/or on-going treatment, parents will be contacted to discuss referral to an outside specialist.
Unless there is a risk of harm or concern for the student’s safety, counselling is confidential.
Appointments are made directly through the Counsellors, via phone or email, initiated by a student, or via teacher referral at the College.
