Social Justice
The College motto, To Live Justly, proclaims the purpose and direction of our College.
Social justice is a central part of the formation of young people at Chanel College.
Our focus on Social Justice provides opportunities for students to acknowledge and explore issues that affect our local, nationals and global communities.
All students at Chanel College are actively encouraged to involve themselves in service to others – be it through:
- their Pastoral Care Group Social Justice Project
- St Vincent de Paul activities
- Buddies Days
- visiting local aged care facilities such as Edenvale
- working on Interact Projects
- supporting the Marist Solidarity Coin Trail
- donating to Caritas Australia’s annual Project Compassion appeal.
